The Month of Substance for Scan Begins
The Substance tools have become more flexible over the years. Many different workflows now use Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Substance Source, Substance B2M and the other Substance tools and integrations in their workflow. Recently, the Substance tools have been used more and more in scan processing workflows, as the Framestore VFX team demonstrated by using a bit of scan during their texture creation for Blade Runner 2049.
This is why, this month, we’ll be talking a lot about scans.
